The Suzuki Violin Association of Puerto Rico offers musical educational workshops for children with their families.

The Annual Susan Ashby Workshop is one of the most important on the programmatic agenda of the Suzuki Violin Association of Puerto Rico. For three or four days more than 80 families come together to work with their children in the musical learning process. Master classes in violin, viola, cello and double bass are offered by locally and internationally renowned faculty. In addition, orchestra workshops, group classes, among other courses are offered that will enrich the students' musical learning process. It also integrates training courses for university students and professionals of Musical Education of the Orff, Kodály or Dalcroze Method. This workshop is offered as part of a collaboration between the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and the Suzuki Violin Association of Puerto Rico.
